


The Faculty of Basic Education organizes a seminar on globalization and its impact on Arab women.
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Basic Education at Wasit University organized a scientific seminar titled “Globalization and Its Impact on Arab Women,” with the presence of several faculty members and students.
The seminar aims to shed light on the influence of globalization on Arab and Iraqi women, highlighting the social and legal aspects of this influence, and understanding the status of women within the global system, commonly referred to as globalization. It also aims to highlight the aspects of change brought about by globalization in areas such as ideology, politics, economy, and culture.
The seminar recommended increasing cultural awareness of the concept of globalization, identifying its positive aspects, improving and developing them for the benefit of Arab and Iraqi women, and the necessity of organizing seminars and workshops focusing on the concept of globalization and its impact on various aspects of social and cultural life.
