Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, President of Wasit University, the Department of Finance and Banking at the College of Administration and Economics organized a special scientific exhibition dedicated to the discussion of fourth-year students’ graduation projects, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students.

The exhibition included the presentation and discussion of a selection of modern financial and banking research topics, presented by students under the direct supervision of the department’s professors and evaluated by specialized academic committees.

In his speech at the exhibition, the University President praised the academic level of the submitted research, appreciating the efforts made by both the students and their supervisors. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in enhancing students’ research capabilities and enabling them to present their projects before academic committees and a professional audience.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Waeli, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, noted that the purpose of the event is to develop students’ research skills and to strengthen the practical aspect of their graduation projects.
