As part of strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and governmental entities, the Head of the Agriculture and Water Resources Committee in the Wasit Provincial Council, Mr. Salam Abdul Hassan Al-Ajeeli, met with the Dean of the College of Agriculture at Wasit University to discuss ways to enhance their partnership in supporting the agricultural sector and developing water resources in the province.

The meeting focused on the importance of collaboration in supporting student and researcher projects, providing technical consultations, and organizing workshops and training programs aimed at developing agricultural personnel and enhancing research capabilities.

Both parties emphasized the necessity of leveraging the academic and practical expertise offered by the college to achieve agricultural sustainability and strengthen food security in Wasit, reflecting the vital role of community partnerships in fostering sustainable development.
