







Extensive Tree-Planting Campaign in the Courtyards and Gardens of the College of Medicine to Promote Environmental Awareness and Sustainability
In celebration of National Tree Planting Day and as part of efforts to enhance environmental awareness and contribute to environmental conservation, the College of Medicine at Wasit University organized a large-scale tree-planting campaign. The event saw the participation of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Naseer Kadhem Al-Maliki, along with his administrative and scientific deputies, faculty members, and students.
The campaign aimed to raise environmental awareness, foster a spirit of collaboration among participants, and address climate change challenges by expanding green spaces.
During the event, various types of trees and plants were planted in the college’s courtyards and gardens, contributing to the improvement of the university environment and providing a healthier atmosphere for students and faculty members.
This initiative is part of a series of activities and events organized by the College of Medicine at wasit University to promote environmental awareness and contribute to sustainability efforts.
