The Agricultural Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a large-scale tree-planting campaign in conjunction with National Tree Planting Day. The event was supervised by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hani Mohsen Khalif, and attended by the ministerial and university committees, along with faculty members, staff, and students.

The campaign aimed to expand green spaces, promote environmental sustainability within the university campus, and raise awareness among students and the broader community about the importance of afforestation and green space conservation. This initiative has contributed to creating a clean and natural environment, fostering a more suitable atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students.

The campaign included planting seedlings and flowers throughout the college gardens, in addition to fruit-bearing trees such as citrus and date palms, which were voluntarily donated by faculty members, staff, and students. This collective effort reflects their strong commitment to establishing a sustainable natural environment.

Additionally, an awareness campaign titled “The Importance of Afforestation in Achieving Sustainable Development” was organized to enhance environmental consciousness regarding sustainable tree planting and its critical role in environmental conservation.
