Wasit University has signed a cooperation agreement with Sawa Private University to strengthen academic and scientific collaboration between the two institutions. The agreement was signed in the presence of the President of Wasit University, Prof. Dr. Mazen Al-Husseini, and the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Dr. Ali Hussein Sha’iah, along with a number of faculty members and officials from both universities.

The agreement includes several key areas of collaboration, primarily the exchange of expertise and teaching staff, conducting joint scientific research, as well as organizing conferences, scientific seminars, and workshops that contribute to the development of higher education. The agreement also aims to enhance the quality of education in Iraq and align academic programs with the needs of the labor market.

Prof. Dr. Mazen Al-Husseini, President of Wasit University, emphasized that this agreement is part of the university’s strategy to expand its academic partnerships with national universities in order to achieve academic excellence. He added that the collaboration with Sawa Private University represents an important step in enhancing scientific exchange and developing academic programs.

On his part, the President of Sawa Private University praised the significance of this cooperation in improving the educational process and developing modern academic programs that meet the demands of the job market. He noted that this collaboration will contribute to raising the quality of higher education in Iraq and strengthen the role of universities in serving the community.
