The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Wasit, organized a tree-planting campaign in the college gardens.

This initiative, which involved the participation of faculty members and students, aimed to enhance the college’s aesthetic appeal and encourage the community to take part in environmental conservation efforts. The campaign also emphasized the importance of spreading environmental awareness and motivating citizens to engage in voluntary work, given its crucial role in creating a healthy, green environment while improving health, economic, and psychological well-being.

As part of the campaign, various trees and shrubs were planted to expand green spaces and combat desertification. Additionally, different indoor plants were placed along the department’s hallways to further enhance the environment.
