










Ministerial Committee Visits the College of Education for Pure Sciences During Tree Planting Week

As part of national efforts to expand green spaces and improve environmental conditions, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Wasit organized a tree-planting campaign within the college’s gardens and corridors. This initiative aimed to promote environmental sustainability and foster a clean and healthy university environment.
The campaign included an on-site visit by a ministerial committee, accompanied by Professor Dr. Sobeih Lafta Al-Zubaidi, Assistant President of Wasit University for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Mahdi Alwan Al-Quraishi, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs.
During the visit, the committee closely monitored the implementation of the afforestation activities, emphasizing the significance of such environmental initiatives in enhancing the university climate and raising ecological awareness among students and faculty members.
This campaign is part of a series of environmental projects the university seeks to implement to achieve sustainable development and improve the quality of life on campus, thereby instilling a culture of environmental responsibility in future generations.
