


The College of Engineering organizes a training course on the Government Entrepreneurship Initiative for training and developing youth skills.
The College of Engineering at Wasit University organized a training course on the government’s entrepreneurship initiative to train and develop the skills of young people, attended by the President of Wasit University, Dr. Abbas Lfta Al-Aqabi, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Sabeeh Lfta Farhan, and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Thaer Saud Salman, along with a number of university students and graduates seeking job opportunities.
The course, presented by the consultant trainer, Eng. Salah, Head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the university, aims to equip participants with the skills to establish and study the feasibility of projects through both theoretical and practical training.
The results of the course showed that by the end, participants would be able to assess the potential success of their project ideas and implement them, thus enabling them to obtain funding for their projects through government loans. These loans can reach up to 20 million for small projects and 100 million for innovative and pioneering projects.
It is worth noting that the course lasts for five days and includes more than 21 participants, including students and graduates.
Wasit University is known for being one of the leading and pioneering universities in launching training initiatives through its trainers and the training environment provided. Work is ongoing to open additional training centers at the university.
