

Feasibility Study for the Construction of a Railway from the Zurbatiyah Border Crossing to the Holy City of Karbala
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has granted initial approval for the implementation of the feasibility study project mentioned above. This study was submitted by Ahmed Rahman Aboud, a master’s student at the College of Administration and Economics, Department of Economics, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Noor Abdul Sattar Ibrahim Al-Shammari.
The feasibility study is part of the requirements for obtaining a master’s degree and has been deemed economically viable based on the cost-benefit analysis indicator, as confirmed by the official document from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, attached below.
